Old Photos: Leningrad

A recent clip of a base jump from the 404 ft. spire of the Peter and Paul Cathedral in St.Petersburg was widely discussed on the Russian-speaking internet.

After the officials claimed that it was impossible and many people called the video a fake, another clip was posted to prove that it actually happened.

And now some old photos of snowy St.Petersburg when it was still called Leningrad. I am being told this year the weather is unseasonably warm and rainy.
